The speed of life
moves in a flicker flash
fluttering, fleeting
The depth of love
hearts sometimes clash
but are always beating
Until we slowly ascend
beyond heaven's gates, we pass
with smiles at the angels' greeting
Like we can't protect our eyes
from each falling eyelash
we must live out each day
for this one could be the last
Laugh at adversity
climb past the heights of your potential
